A few years ago my exact words were "I will never drive a mini-van." Well I'm eating my words now because yesterday Neil and I bought a mini-van. I am officially a true soccer mom and owner of a 2003 Ford Windstar. Aside from the fact that it is a greenish color (not my top choice) it is pretty cool. I will definitely have enough room to drive around my tots, my shopping bags, and my double stroller without a tight squeeze. Yay. I still feel like a bit of my youth just flew right out of the mini-van window though. On the plus side Neil has ok'ed my idea of painting flames on the side in true "rocker" mom form. I really wouldn't though. I'm much to lame for that kind of thing now...only I'm some new word for lame that I'm too "insert new word here" to know about. Happy driving!

8 Months, a Tooth, and the Horses
In honor of Lana's 8 month birthday, we popped both kids into my new super awesome Sit-n-Stand stroller and took a walk to see the horses not too far from our house. Turns out "not too far" was way too far for me. I was this close to asking Neil to push me in the stroller. It was fun though. I also made my children dress in coordinating outfits just so I could take pictures of them in our yard this past week. Bless their hearts for putting up with me and letting me take hundreds of pictures of them every month. Lastly, I was finally able to get Lana's first tooth on film. She is quite the stinker about letting anyone have a look at it...but she is definitely not afraid to use it.

Hopping on the blogging bandwagon...
I'm doing it...I'm starting a blog. Why? Well, I've been wanting to forever, enough people I know have one so I won't seem like anymore of a big L7 than them, Neil thinks I should write down some of my random thoughts, experiences, stories, etc., and this way I can share them (as well as some eye candy) with everyone who loves my family just as much as I do. It's no secret that I enjoy talking about my kids. And why wouldn't I? They are quite possibly the coolest people ever. So be warned - This blog will really center on Landen and Lana, my two sweet loves, and my life as a "modern day June Cleaver" (the label I have bestowed upon myself). This should be fun....
